The plant has a spreading or prostrate growth habit, reaching a height of 46–61 cm with a bush width of 91–122 cm. The foliage is small and serrated. The flowers are pink-tinted with unusually long corolla tubes.

The variety is a hybrid bred for reduced fertility. It demonstrates low resistance to adverse conditions when grown in the open field, showing a susceptibility to root and grey rot, as well as vulnerability to pests.
