The variety is a dwarf shrub with dense green foliage and a dense, compact crown shape. The height and width of the plant vary from 75 to 100 cm.
The flowers have a purple-crimson or bright pink hue. Flowering is prolonged, starting from early summer and continuing until autumn, especially when faded inflorescences are removed.
The plant is non-invasive, has low seed-setting ability, and is resistant to deer browsing. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 5–9 or temperatures down to -20°C. The variety is suitable for border and mass plantings, as well as for container cultivation.
