The variety was created by crossing the Black Knight and Santana varieties. The plant has a wide, ground-cover growth habit and reaches a height of about 1 meter.
The shrub's foliage is distinguished by a bright yellow color, and the flowers have a dark pink or dark crimson color. The variety is drought-tolerant, and its leaves are not prone to sunburn.
