Variety description

The shrub has a compact, bushy habit with graceful arching branches. Its height in container cultivation is about 1 m, while it reaches 1.5 m in open field. The leaves are lanceolate, dark green on top and pubescent underneath.

The flowers are collected in cone-shaped panicles 20–25 cm long and have a sweet aroma. Flowering continues from late June to September on current-year shoots. The plant prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils, requires annual spring pruning.
