Variety description

The variety is a compact shrub obtained as a bud mutation of the variety «Green Velvet». At maturity, the plant reaches a height and width of 90 to 180 cm. A distinctive feature is the rounded, slightly dentate leaves of a dark olive color.

The plant possesses good resistance to low temperatures (at least down to USDA zone 5) and deer damage. The variety tolerates pruning well, due to which it is used for creating hedges, borders, topiary forms, as well as in container gardening.
