The variety PP0005, known by the trade name Calathea Network, is a bushy plant with a compact form. The leaves are small in size and are distinguished by pronounced contrasting variegation in the form of a reticulated pattern resembling a digital network.

The plant is intended for cultivation in indoor conditions and is well-suited for placement on desks or in limited spaces. The variety shows high stability of its unique traits during micropropagation, but is sensitive to the watering regime: excess moisture leads to root rot, and drying out of the substrate causes the appearance of dry edges on the leaves.
