The flowers of the variety have a star shape and a rosy-pink hue. Dense, erect inflorescences are situated on sturdy peduncles surrounded by sword-shaped leaves ranging from medium to dark green in color. The variety forms dense clumps and blooms in the period from late spring to early summer.
The plant is intended for ornamental gardening and develops well in borders and tree or shrub root zones. It prefers sites with variable or dappled shade and adapts to sandy and clay soils provided there is no winter waterlogging. The plant is not edible.
