The variety belongs to the group of spring false flax and is the result of breeding work carried out at the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. The crop is intended for use in the food, feed, and technical industries, including biofuel production.

In scientific research, the variety stands out among other genotypes as a promising specimen with large seeds and high values of morphometric fruit characteristics. The plant demonstrates good seed productivity under the conditions of breeding trials.
