The variety «Slavutych» is an oilseed crop. It is used to obtain vegetable oil containing omega-3 fatty acids, as well as for the production of biodiesel and feed additives in the form of meal or oilcake. Studies also cover the chemical composition of the above-ground part of the plant in the context of pharmaceutical applications.

The oil content in the seeds of the variety is about 39%. Detailed morphological and economic characteristics, such as plant height, maturity group, or disease resistance indicators, are not described in detail in open scientific publications.
