Variety description

The variety is a mutation (sport) of the Nuccio's Cameo variety. The plant is a shrub with an upright growth habit, reaching 1.5 m in height and 1 m in width by 10 years of age. The variety is suitable for solitary plantings, compositions with acidophilic plants, and container cultivation.
A distinctive feature is the dark green leaves with a creamy white margin or spots, which retain their coloration throughout the year. The flowers are large, bright or soft pink, and fully double in shape. The flowering period occurs from February to April.
The plant prefers partial shade or shade and wind-protected areas with acidic soil. The winter hardiness of the variety is up to -15°C.
