Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps 30 to 50 cm in height. The foliage is dark green, oblong-ovate in shape, and slightly rough to the touch. The flowers are star-shaped, with up to 20 per inflorescence; inflorescences are located at the tips of the shoots and in the leaf axils.
The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to –34 °C. Flowering begins in May–June and lasts until July or early autumn; a second wave is possible after pruning. The stems are straight and sturdy, and the plant does not exhibit aggressive spreading.
