The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant. The species as a whole is characterized by a height of 10–15 cm, the ability to spread in width up to 50 cm, the presence of heart-shaped leaves, and flowering with blue or purple flowers in the period from June to August.

Morphological characteristics of the variety HAVPRTB908 include a narrow-elliptic shape of the corolla lobes and a medium or strong degree of their recurving. These characteristics are used as the main criteria for identifying the variety during expert assessment.
