The variety is a perennial low-growing plant 10–20 cm in height. The plant is distinguished by abundant flowering with violet-blue flowers.

The variety is used as a pot culture, suitable for cultivation in rock gardens, on retaining walls, and as a groundcover plant. The plant is characterized by winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -15 °C and below, provided that drainage is ensured.
