The variety is a low-growing perennial herbaceous plant with a dense habit. The leaves are triangular in shape with a cordate base, obtuse apex, crenate margin, and smooth surface.

Raceme-type inflorescences are located at the apices and in the leaf axils. The flowers are narrow bell-shaped with a coloration corresponding to the RHS 92D color chart.
