The variety is monoecious, however, in practice it may show a significant presence of male plants, the proportion of which in field trials varied from 11% to 40%. It is genetically related to the Fibrimon variety.

Fibrol fiber is characterized as finer compared to other Hungarian varieties. The seeds have a high oil content, the thousand kernel weight is about 13 g. The variety is being studied as an effective means for cleaning soils of heavy metals.
