The variety was bred based on the pure Ocal type. It is positioned as a rootstock for grafting rather than for obtaining commercial fruit, so its own morphological characteristics depend on the chosen scion.

A key feature is long-lasting resistance to the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita. Use of this variety allows for maintaining plant viability and improving yield indicators when growing under soil infestation conditions without the use of chemical fumigants.
