Technical maturity of the fruits occurs 53–55 days after transplanting, full biological maturity in 75–80 days. The fruits are smooth, conical, about 10 cm long and up to 5 cm wide, with thick succulent flesh.
The taste is sweet, mild, with a slight fruity note and absence of pungency. The fruits are suitable for canning, drying, and freezing, and are traditionally considered one of the best varieties for frying.
