The variety is intended for culinary use, in particular for the preparation of red chili powder. The fruits are distinguished by their large size, thick skin, and ability to retain a rich color after drying, which ensures high marketability of the product.

The plant possesses complex resistance to Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), and anthracnose. In a number of scientific papers, the variety may be referred to under the code designation P12.
