Plants of the Calipso variety reach a height of 50–55 cm, have a semi-spreading growth habit and a short stem. Between 14 and 18 fruits are formed on one bush. At technical maturity, the pepper has a light green color, and at biological maturity, an intense yellow color.
The fruits are characterized by a rectangular or trapezoidal shape, have 3–4 chambers, a smooth shiny surface, and dimensions of 8–9 cm in length and 7–8 cm in width. The variety is intended for cultivation in open field and unheated plastic tunnels with a recommended planting scheme of 50x50 cm.
