Pepper Gaon F1 belongs to the «quadrilo-elongated» type. The plant has medium vigor, high fertility, and productivity. The variety is mid-season and shows stable development results under various growing conditions.
The fruits are large, four-chambered, reaching 18–20 cm in length and 12 cm in width. At the stage of technical maturity, they have a dark green color; upon full ripening, they become intensely red. The fruit flesh is thick and crunchy.
The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in both greenhouses and open field. It possesses high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (Tm:0 or PMMoV:0).
