Capsicum annuum L. Bell pepper · Vegetables · bred by Texas Agricultural Experiment Station

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the serrano type and differs from standard representatives of this group by a 2–3 times larger fruit size. The pungency of the pepper varies in the range of 6,000 to 17,000 Scoville heat units, which makes it milder in taste compared to classic varieties.

The breeding of the variety was conducted within the framework of a pathogen control program, as a result of which it received complex resistance to at least four major viral diseases of pepper. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and has gained popularity in commercial production and private gardening.
