The Jolly Rosso F1 hybrid is characterized by early maturity. The plant is vigorous, energetic and productive. The fruits have a slightly elongated square shape measuring 12 × 12 cm, with specimens up to 25 cm in length. At the stage of biological maturity, the fruits are glossy red in color and have juicy, sweet flesh with thick walls.
The variety has resistance to Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV, race 0) and blossom-end rot of fruits. It is intended for fresh consumption, salads and culinary processing. It is cultivated both in protected cultivation and in open field, and is well adapted to cool growing conditions. Sowing for seedlings is carried out from February to April, the harvest period lasts from July to October.
