Kafteri Ierapetras is a traditional local hot pepper variety originating from the island of Crete. The plant is characterized as strong and productive, suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and open field conditions.
The fruits have an elongated horn-like shape, with a length of 18–20 cm. At technical maturity, the fruits are light green in color. The variety possesses a pronounced spicy taste.
