Variety description

The variety is open-pollinated, not a hybrid. The plant forms a compact semi-determinate bush 40–45 cm tall with a rigid stem resistant to lodging, and dark green leathery foliage. The variety is characterized by a short growing season and is classified as early-maturing.

The fruits are upward-facing, reach 12–15 cm in length, taper gradually to a pointed tip, and have a slight curve. At biological maturity, the fruits turn dark red. The variety is noted for its high content of coloring pigments and distinct aromatic properties.

Genetically, the variety contains the Bs2 gene, which provides resistance to bacterial spot (Xanthomonas vesicatoria, pathotypes 1, 2, 3). Suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation, appropriate for producing powdered paprika and for fresh consumption.
