The Karmen variety is a Capsicum annuum type pepper, bred by crossing the California Wonder type with sweet pepper varieties. The plant is characterized by high productivity and reliability in vegetable growing conditions.
The fruits have an elongated shape. A distinctive feature of the variety is a very short vegetation period compared to other Hungarian varieties, as well as the suitability of the produce for long-term storage.
