The plant is vigorous, compact, reaches a height of 50–80 cm, has abundant bright green foliage, and requires staking due to the weight of the fruits. The variety is mid-season or late-season, with a ripening period of about 120 days or 5–6 months after sowing.

The fruits have a prism-shaped or rectangular form, reaching 18–20 cm in length, and their weight varies from 350 to 500 g. The fruit walls are thick, 6–7 mm, juicy, with a mild sweet taste; upon full maturity, they turn a bright red color.

The variety is a traditional landrace, typical of the coast of Catalonia. The fruits are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, stuffing, baking, grilling, and preserving.
