Fruits of the variety reach 20–25 cm in length and have a characteristic spiral shape. During ripening, the color changes from yellow-green through orange to deep red. The fruit flesh is of medium thickness. The plant can reach a height of 0.4 to 1 meter.
The variety is characterized by a mild taste with slight pungency, which increases upon full ripening to red color. The harvest is suitable for pickling, fresh consumption, use in soups and sauces. The crop prefers sunny locations and fertile soil, and can be grown in greenhouses and open plots.
