Montero F1 is an indeterminate hybrid with a plant height of 1.5 to 2 meters. It is recommended for cultivation in glass and plastic greenhouses; in some cases, planting in open field is possible. The plant requires mandatory tying to a support during the vegetation period.
The fruits have a prism-shaped form and a glossy surface. At the stage of technical maturity, they are dark green, and at biological maturity, they are bright red. The weight of one fruit is from 250 to 300 grams, and the wall thickness reaches 8 mm. The hybrid possesses resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV 0–2) and is intended for universal use in cooking and canning.
