The variety is a mutant form obtained as a result of exposing Pazardzhishka kapiya 794 bell pepper seeds to X-ray radiation at a dose of 120 Gy. The genetic mutation responsible for the unique biochemical composition is localized in the region of the 3rd chromosome and affects the beta-carotene hydroxylase gene.
The main morphological feature of the fruits in biological maturity is the bright orange color. The plants of the variety were successfully cultivated in unheated plastic and glass greenhouses, as well as in the open field. Due to the high provitamin A content, the variety is primarily in demand in breeding programs to improve the nutritional value of new hybrids.
