The plant is medium-sized, forming fruits 18–20 cm long and 4–5 cm in diameter, with an average weight of about 150 grams. At technical maturity, the fruits are green; upon ripening, they turn dark red. The variety possesses disease resistance, including tolerance to Fusarium and tobacco mosaic virus.
The variety is suitable for cultivation in open field and plastic greenhouses. Fleshy fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, home canning, pickling, and preparation of the traditional vegetable dish ajvar.
