The vegetation period is approximately 110–115 days from planting or 70–75 days from transplanting. The variety is a product of breeding work to improve local "Sivriya" type populations and is used both for fresh consumption and for culinary purposes.
With proper agricultural practices, the variety provides a yield at the level of 40–45 t/ha. High susceptibility of plants to bacterial spot caused by Xanthomonas spp. is noted.
