The variety is a compact bushy plant 60–80 cm in height. The fruits are cone-shaped or triangular, 4–8 cm long, 3–4 cm wide, and weigh 17–50 g. A characteristic feature is the vertical position of the fruits on the plant; as they ripen, they change color from green to bright red.
The variety is mid-season with a ripening period of 60–70 days. The fruits have a sweet, aromatic taste with mild pungency (100–500 SHU). The plant is well-adapted to the Mediterranean climate.
The primary purpose of the variety is processing into paprika, which possesses an intense color and aroma and is used as an ingredient for meat products, soups, and stews. The fruits are also suitable for fresh consumption.
