Termaber is used as a rootstock onto which commercial sweet pepper varieties are grafted. The primary purpose of its application is to improve plant characteristics when grown under high-temperature conditions.
The use of this rootstock allows for an increase in marketable yield in hot weather by reducing the incidence of blossom-end rot in plants. Grafted plants tolerate heat stress better, maintaining fruit quality indicators, including sugar levels, acidity, and antioxidant content.
