Variety description

The plant's leaves are linear, leathery, and arching. In summer, they are green with a cream-white margin and an orange tint, while in the autumn-spring season the edges acquire a rich orange color. Flowering occurs in spring or early summer with small cream-brown spikes.
The plant reaches 35–50 cm in height and width. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness up to USDA zone 5, which corresponds to frosts down to -25...-28 °C. The sedge prefers moist, well-drained soils and is capable of growing in both sun and shade or partial shade conditions, provided there is sufficient moisture.
