Variety description

The variety is a natural cultivar of Carpinus betulus with denser branching and a compact habit compared to the species form. The plant is characterized by a moderate growth rate, reaching a height of about 5 meters and a width of 3 meters 10 years after planting.
The key ornamental feature is the foliage color: bright lime in spring, rich yellow-green in summer, and golden-green in autumn. The leaves are resistant to sunscald. The variety is shade-tolerant, adapts well to heavy, moist, and calcareous soils, and also possesses high winter hardiness.
The plant tolerates pruning and severe trimming well, which allows it to be used for creating hedges. It is also suitable for specimen plantings. The variety possesses high disease resistance.
