Variety description

The variety has a very compact spherical shape and is often grafted onto a high stem. The plant forms fairly long shoots, which requires regular pruning to maintain the shape, while the variety grows noticeably wider than other compact Carpinus cultivars.

The leaves have a deeply serrated margin and resemble the Quercifolia variety in appearance, but are not prone to premature drying or shedding. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness and adaptability to various conditions of urban and park landscaping.
