The Oscar variety is an oilseed crop with high oil content and excellent indicators of its composition. The plant possesses a deep taproot with a length of 120 to 150 cm, which allows it to effectively withstand arid conditions.

During agronomic trials, the variety demonstrated a yield of 21.96 c/ha. The variety was also used for research as a comparative sample when studying the crop's resistance to the pest Acanthiophilus helianthi Rossi depending on sowing dates.
