The Sabina variety belongs to the linoleic type of safflower and is intended for vegetable oil production. The plant shows good seed yield and stable oil quality under various environmental conditions.

The variety exhibits increased resistance to diseases, in particular to Alternaria blight and Fusarium head blight, in comparison with a number of other safflower varieties.
