Variety description

The plant forms neat clumps with gray-green lanceolate leaves. Flowering occurs from late May to July; when faded inflorescences are removed, flowers may reappear in late summer or early autumn.
The variety has sturdy flower stalks and is undemanding in care. It is used as an ornamental plant in mixed borders, borders, and rock gardens; it is also a honey plant that attracts insects.
