The plant forms a dense, spreading crown. Leaves are lanceolate, dark green, with characteristic pubescence. In the autumn period, the foliage changes color to a pronounced copper-red or rusty-red hue.
Flowers of a bright cobalt-blue shade are gathered in dense capitate inflorescences. The flowering period occurs from late summer and continues until October or November. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -15°C, and requires a sunny location with well-drained soil.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
