The variety is classified as a fruit-bearing one, but due to its abundant flowering and decorative foliage, it is suitable for use in landscaping. The fruits of the variety are valued for their high vitamin C content and acidic taste, which makes them suitable for making jam, marmalade, compotes, and tea.
In scientific literature, it is noted that the fruits of the variety are susceptible to olive rot, caused by the fungus Cladosporium herbarum, which manifests as rapidly enlarging brown spots. Precise parameters for plant height or ripening dates are not detailed in the publications.
