The plant has a compact pyramidal or cone-like shape with sturdy tissues. The evergreen needle-like foliage of a fresh green color has sharp tips and a decussate leaf arrangement. The height of mature specimens reaches 90–100 cm.
The variety is low-maintenance, resistant to winter temperatures in USDA zones 5 and 6, and well-established plants do not require covering. It is suitable for solitary plantings, hedges, topiary, container gardening, as well as for small gardens and rock gardens.
