The Delistar Yellow variety belongs to the spider chrysanthemum type and is grown with a single large inflorescence per peduncle. Methods of removing lateral shoots are applied to form such a flower under industrial conditions.

The plant has bright yellow inflorescences with long, thin, often curling at the ends ray florets. The crop requires control of the light regime, in particular a short light day to stimulate flowering.

The variety is a specialized industrial hybrid intended for greenhouse cultivation. It does not possess the winter hardiness necessary for survival in open field conditions in regions with cold winters.
