The variety is large-seeded, with a thousand kernel weight of approximately 450 g. The plant is capable of withstanding temperatures down to -3 °C and possesses increased drought tolerance at the germination stage.

The variety is susceptible to Ascochyta blight and Sclerotinia rot, especially when sown in autumn. In agronomic studies, it is often used as a reference sample when studying the adaptation of chickpeas to the Mediterranean climate.

The seeds are characterized by a high protein content and are used in the food industry, including for the production of protein isolates.
