The plant forms a rosette 30 to 70 cm high and about 30–40 cm wide. The leaves are egg-shaped or heart-shaped with a serrated or wavy margin and are characterized by a dark green color.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to bolting, which allows sowing throughout the season from June to August and harvesting until November. The leaves of the variety have a characteristic aromatic taste and are used as a leafy vegetable for salads.
