The plant in the vegetative state is characterized as low. The leaves are semi-erect, short and narrow, light or medium green in color. The leaf blade surface is weakly blistered, the margins are highly wavy with deep incisions, and the tip is slightly pointed.

The head is elliptical in shape, with a small diameter and a rounded apex. The head is loose, with a fully open apex. The flowers are blue, the flower stalk is short and moderately branched. The flowering period is early or medium; a tendency to bolt is noted with early sowing.

Internal product qualities include the absence or weak blistering of the head leaves, a yellow color of the outer side of the leaf, and a cream shade of the midrib. The variety is intended for cultivation within the witloof chicory crop system.
