The Daufine variety is a hybrid adapted for use in modern production technologies for heads (chicons). The plant is intended for obtaining etiolated shoots formed during forcing from roots in the dark.
Used in professional vegetable growing, in particular, used in research on the hydroponic forcing of chicons.
