The plant belongs to the group of leaf varieties for cutting, characterized by a large size and a sturdy habit. The intensely green leaves are distinguished by pronounced serration along the edges; the petioles are long, thick, and light, with an almost white hue.

The variety is mid-early; the period from sowing to technical maturity takes from 40 to 75 days. The leaves have a dense, crunchy texture and a taste characteristic of chicory with a hint of bitterness.

The variety is intended for culinary use in fresh form in salads or after heat treatment, such as sautéing or stewing. The plant can also be used as feed for tortoises.
