The variety is intended for industrial use, primarily for the extraction of inulin from roots. Breeding is aimed at increasing the inulin yield per hectare, ensuring stable compositional quality, and improving the technological characteristics of the root.

Plants are selected for traits of bolting resistance, suitability of root shape for mechanized harvesting, and general resistance to root and leaf diseases.
