The variety is intended for traditional forcing cultivation using casing soil. The plant has a compact structure with semi-erect or erect foliage, the edges of which are serrated. It forms dense, firm heads of an elongated, pointed shape, possessing a characteristic crunch and moderate bitterness.

The plant possesses reduced sensitivity to bacterial soft rot, brown axis, and root rots. The variety is demanding of soil moisture and fertility; it does not tolerate drought. It is a variety obtained without the use of cell fusion technology (CMS-free).
